Pentian's founder and CEO, is a serial entrepreneur with over 17 years experience with technology in the healthcare, telecommunications, & big data arena. Parrilla successfully started SSL.com, a leading security solutions provider for the web development industry at the beginning of the web boom in the 1990s. He went on to found three software companies providing solutions for the utility management industry, M2M telecommunications and book publishing and workflow management.
An attorney by trade, is an experienced investor in technology and real-estate. As an attorney, Chaplan is an expert in real estate development, acquisitions and dispositions, financing, construction and related litigation. Additionally, Mr. Chaplan's practice areas include mergers and acquisitions as well as business formation, dissolution, mergers & acquisitions as well as tax-exempt and charitable organizations and entertainment law. Chaplan earned his B.S. degree from the University of Southern California and his J.D. from Pepperdine University, where he was a member of the Pepperdine Law Review, 1989-1991 and Phi Alpha Delta. Presently, Mr. Chaplan is an adjunct professor on Pepperdine's faculty where he teaches entrepreneurship and serves on the advisory board of the Schools Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology Law.
Is an experienced entrepreneur with more than 20 years of software; hardware and services experience for both publicly traded and privately held technology organizations. His expertise and leadership was instrumental in guiding those companies through periods of rapid expansion to achieve their growth goals. Mr. Ladin sits on the boards of several technology focused startups, and holds a BSE in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
